About Camp Tibet
Camp Tibet — a Tibetan summer camp for the children of North American Tibetan families — is a non-profit project launched under the auspices of the Office of Tibet, in collaboration with Tibetan community associations and the Conservancy for Tibetan Art and Culture — with the long-term goal of helping young Tibetans living in North America strengthen their vital connections to Tibetan identity, community, and culture.
As a pilot or test of this project, an inaugural one-week session of Camp Tibet is scheduled to be held in the summer of 2025. Based on the success of this inaugural session, the possibility of hosting additional week-long sessions, and/or piloting sessions in other geographic locations elsewhere will be considered.
